Job Description:

IT Data Analyst

Contract Duration: Initially 12 months

Pay Rate: $34.39/hr

Location: Bellevue, WA (Factoria)

Hybrid: onsite 4 days/week

Job Description:
  • This position will focus on forensic preservation of laptops and other digital media in support of Privacy and eDiscovery matters, while also assisting with data retention and minimization efforts.
  • Additional responsibilities include case management, review, and resolution, data organization and analysis, and other duties as assigned for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
  • The role requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with scripting, ticket management systems, and the ability to work with and interpret disparate datasets preferred.

Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc)
  • Forensic tool exposure (EnCase / FTK / Axiom)
  • MS Office suite / Purview / Entra
  • Basic Scripting / SQL + Splunk / Snowflake

What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks)
  • Perform hands on forensic preservation of laptops, desktops, and other digital media, maintaining proper chain-of-custody and evidence handling standards.
  • Analyze preserved data and prepare reports for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
  • Work on data minimization projects.
  • Work within ticket management tools to document work and assist with caseload.
  • Communicate with investigators, attorneys, and business partners to advance priorities and provide updates on progress.

Preferred background/prior work experience?
  • Technical background, ideally from Digital Forensics or adjacent fields (i.e. Cybersecurity, IT)
  • 1 year of experience in Digital Forensics or Cybersecurity preferred.
