Project Manager 10+yrs Telecom Domain ( Must w2 only)
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite/Hybrid) Pref , or Willing to Relocate
About the Role
We re seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in the Telecom domain to lead complex technology and infrastructure initiatives. You will manage full project lifecycles ranging from network upgrades and OSS/BSS transformations to digital modernization projects while collaborating with engineering, operations, and IT teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for telecom initiatives.
Manage cross-functional teams across network engineering, operations, and IT.
Define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
Track and report progress using MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
Ensure adherence to PM best practices across Agile or Waterfall environments.
Identify and mitigate project risks; manage changes to scope, budget, and schedule.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and clients for clear communication and alignment.
Maintain detailed documentation, dashboards, and leadership reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
10+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years in telecom project management.
Proven success managing Telecom Infrastructure / OSS-BSS / Network Transformation projects.
Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on experience with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Exposure to 5G, Cloud Migration, or Network Modernization projects.
Experience working with major Telecom providers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.).
Understanding of Telecom architecture, OSS/BSS frameworks, and system integrations.
