IT Asset Management Analyst
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Software Asset Analyst to help manage and optimize software licensing especially Microsoft products while ensuring license compliance and cost efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT operations or SAM career who enjoys organizing data, solving problems, and contributing to smarter software usage across an organization.


  • Location: Hybrid Phoenix, AZ
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $54,000-$90,000
  • No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role


What You ll Do:
Maintain and reconcile Microsoft licensing records including Office 365, Windows Server, and enterprise agreements
Track software assets, usage, and installations to ensure an accurate inventory and data integrity
Support audits by preparing documentation and flagging compliance risks to key stakeholders
Assist in software renewals and procurement activities by gathering requirements and managing timelines
Generate reports and analyze software usage trends using asset management tools and Excel

What Gets You the Job:
2+ years of experience in software asset management or IT operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft licensing ecosystem
Experience with asset management platforms like ServiceNow HAM Pro or similar tools
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Associate degree in IT, Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience
