Job Details



We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java Software Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Wilmington, DE. This is a hybrid on-site role 3 days per week, with it going to a 5 days onsite role in the future.
Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure Java Spring applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Work closely with architects and technical leads on software design and architecture.

  • Implement best practices in software development and cloud operations.



Skills Required



  • Java

  • Spring

  • RESTful API's

  • RDBMS Postgres or Oracle

  • Code Generation Tools like GitHub, Copilot, or Codium.

  • AWS



Nice To Have Skills



  • Microservices

  • Docker

  • CI/CD

  • NoSQL Databases

  • Testing Framework experience (Junit, Mockito, etc.)



Education & Work Experience



  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • 4+ years of enterprise level work experince
