The Engineering Lead is a high-impact role that will collaborate with product, engineering, customer-success, and technical support teams to ensure our customers have a delightful developer experience from start to finish. This will cut across all product domains and require working with cross functional teams across the business, and includes our customers.

Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on API development
2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of developers
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and patterns
Experience with backend technologies is essential. While we do not mind what language you have most recently been using, we are using Java or Kotlin, Spring / Spring Boot
Experience developing and maintaining automated tests and quality control processes
Evidence of working on high volume distributed systems. Strong cloud experience Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront etc) with docker and Kubernetes
Experience integrating with observability tooling such as Splunk, NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana
Basic experience with frontend technologies such as React and Angular is preferred but not required
Experience working within a financial domain is a highly desirable
