Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SecDevOps practices, cloud engineering, and infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform. This role involves working on cutting-edge connected vehicle technology, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Write well-defined and tested code (IaC - Terraform) and build pipelines to enforce standards, frameworks, and architecture principles.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and web security teams to ensure compliance with technical solutions.
  • Contribute as an individual and mentor team members on security disciplines to enhance overall security posture.
  • Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases related to connected vehicle technology.
  • Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems.
  • Adapt new technologies, tools, and processes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and work collaboratively.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and conduct peer code reviews.
  • Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
  • Manage the creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
  • Perform system troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Mastery in one or more SecDevOps practices such as IaC-Terraform, Cloud-AWS, CICD-Git/Argo, and microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services like IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, and APIGW.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash/Shell and Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI and Argo CD).
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision-making.
  • Good understanding of site reliability engineering principles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in additional AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Experience with other IaC tools like CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of secrets management tools like HCP Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Experience with networking tools like Transit GW, VPC Peering, and Istio.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like DataDog, Splunk, and Grafana.
  • Experience with databases such as RDS, MySQL, Postgres, and DynamoDB.

Pay Range: $70 - $75 Hourly on W2
