About this Position:

Job Title: Applications Development Analyst (Entry Level)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in the development of a web-based platform and system maintenance.

  • A minimum of one year of experience in business processes in the general medical field, with a focus in pharmaceuticals.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the development of web applications using the following languages and tools: ASP.Net, Microsoft SQL, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, and Microsoft IIS.

  • A minimum of three years of experience with procurement, distribution, and inventory management.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in integrating technologies into web-based systems.

SERVICE TASKS

  • Meet with the Department within one week of receipt of the purchase order to develop a project vision and objectives.

  • Meet with the Department to provide a draft timeline within two weeks after the initial meeting for the completion of this project.

  • Conduct meetings on a regular basis (at least monthly) with the Department to discuss progress toward objectives.

  • Automate the forms developed by the Department for the Prescription Drug Donation Repository program to allow for online submission, as specified in the final timeline. Automation must include all required fields on each form:

    • Repository Application and Withdrawal form

    • Donor form

    • Patient Application and Dispensing form

    • Recalled Drugs form

    • Destruction of Drugs form

    • Master Repository spreadsheet

  • Create reporting capability, in accordance with the approved timeline, that pulls data from the automated form fields. Reports must include, at a minimum:

    • Active repositories

    • Drugs and supplies available by repository

    • Recalled drugs by repository

    • Donated drugs by repository

    • Destructed drugs by repository

    • Dispensed drugs by repository

  • Ensure that the module and all of its functions are in compliance with Section 465.1902, State Statutes.

  • Provide system maintenance for a period of six months after full implementation, as directed by the Department.

  • Ensure that the system, automation, and forms are compatible with the existing language (Dot Net Core and Angular) throughout the purchase order term.

  • Provide additional services as requested by the Department, including but not limited to backup, upgrades, expansion, and enhancement of the current systems and capabilities.
