PLEASE NOTE: This is a 6 month Renewable Contract and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.

*****Must have experience in CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) system certification and working with state governments on health or dental insurance "carveout" projects in a PM capacity.

Our
direct client needs a hands-on Business Project Manager willing to complete any
task within a given deadline. Must have experience in CMS (Centers for Medicare
& Medicaid Services) system certification and working with state governments
on health or dental insurance "carveout" projects.

Primary Objectives: This Business Project Manager will lead large-scale implementations with state Medicaid agencies, focusing on back-office and technical enablement to support dental insurance administration. Success means:

  • Delivering on-time and accurate implementations
  • Managing internal/external stakeholders effectively
  • Ensuring operational readiness and client satisfaction

Must-Have Skills:

  • Client-Facing Experience: Comfortable acting as the liaison with Medicaid/state agencies, demonstrating empathy, polish, and responsiveness.
  • Critical Thinking: Able to probe deeper than surface-level issues and proactively identify risks and dependencies.
  • Remote Collaboration: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fully virtual environment.
  • Managing / creation of technical or non technical documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, tracking, communication, and execution for new business implementations
  • Act as primary point-of-contact between DentaQuest and state clients
  • Conduct strategy sessions and develop client-facing documentation
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, state, and federal requirements
  • Proactively manage risk, resolve issues, and close open items
  • Drive post-implementation improvements based on lessons learned
