Financial Operations Business Analyst Overview
The Financial Operations Business Analyst will be a key member of the Corporate Finance PMO (CFPMO), responsible for bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-impact financial solutions. This role requires a strong background in corporate finance, treasury, and accounting, alongside exceptional analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will lead requirements definition sessions, translating complex financial processes into actionable system and process improvements. A technical aptitude is preferred to support business solution flows and mapping efforts. This is a high-visibility role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
Job Duties
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and data needs for treasury processes and systems
Demonstrate exposure to and understanding of banking and treasury systems
Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), workflows, flowcharts, and process models to support project goals
Assist and train finance, treasury, and accounting team members on the use of new or modified processes or systems, including providing guidance on existing tools and researching issues
Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes
Liaise with technology teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Support testing activities, including the development of test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring successful project delivery
Monitor and track project progress to ensure alignment with timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders across business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
