This is here in St. Louis, interview will be onsite after an initial MS Teams video call.


Opening this as a Network Engineer III, but the manager is willing to see candidates who would qualify for a level 1 or 2, assuming the bill rate can be adjusted to the appropriate amount.
1-1 call notes:
1. Tell me about the position in general. They must have strong tech skillset around routing, switching, similar networking tech. packet captures. Really focused on toolsets (NetScout can be taught) NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND NETWORKING AT DEEP LEVEL LINUX OS IS A PLUS, SCRIPTING LANGAUGES LIKE PYTHON.

2. Tell me about the position
Day-to-day: Operationally focused team. Handle escalation, dig cam cent. What the cause and resolution from a networking perspective. Use network data to let other teams know what is broken in their environment. TCCP. Understanding load balancing tech, LTM, GTM, Get into WIFI, WAM, MPLS DATA CENTER NETWORKING. Very broad scope networking team. Will need to figure out what the problem without being handheld.

3. Sell this position to me
This is the kind of environment that is rapidly changing. The candidate that will enjoy this work will want to learn new content. A lot of things to learn. Can be constantly challenged by learning new tech and solving problems.
