Position Summary:

The Senior QGenda Systems Analyst will serve as the technical lead and strategic advisor for the QGenda scheduling platform across the healthcare enterprise. This role is essential in supporting hospital-wide workforce management by configuring, optimizing, and maintaining QGenda to align physician and provider scheduling with clinical workflows, compliance standards, and organizational goals.

This position will work collaboratively with clinical leadership, and IT to create scalable and user-friendly scheduling solutions across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the configuration and optimization of QGenda scheduling.

Act as the escalation point person for complex issues and manage coordination with the QGenda vendor.

Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure scheduling aligns with patient care, staffing coverage, and compliance.

Oversee advanced rule-building and customized schedule templates for specialties such as hospitalists, surgeons, and emergency medicine.

Integrate QGenda with EHRs (Epic On Call Finder), HRIS, and credentialing systems to support onboarding and accurate timekeeping.

Mentor junior analysts, lead training initiatives, manage change, and plan rollouts for new QGenda features.

Most of the work will entail the following:

Meeting with schedulers to establish on call workflow.

Update or enter workflows in Qgenda

Assure Task is set up to populate correctly in Epic On call Finder (work with integration with Epic On Call preferred)

Streamlining on call schedule workflow in Qgenda/Automating Workflows

Qgenda troubleshooting/SME
