As a Core Data Center Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in helping with all aspects of operating our Core Data Centers across the US, including building and maintaining our Data Center and physical infrastructure at a time of incredible growth for our business. The Data Center team is operating Data Centers and the server/networking infrastructure that can sustain millions of concurrent players year-round, and are looking for highly-skilled Data Center experts to join our ever-expanding engineering team.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Data Center Hardware Deployment Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hardware infrastructure in our state-of-the-art data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and program management, a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of hardware deployment, from initial planning and procurement to final installation and commissioning.

You will:

• Develop and manage comprehensive program plans for the deployment of server, storage, and network hardware. This includes defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. You will manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and lead coordination between various internal teams, including data center operations, engineering, logistics, and supply chain, as well as external vendors and contractors.
• Oversee multiple concurrent hardware deployment projects, ensuring that all milestones and deliverables are met according to the established timeline and quality standards.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues. Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Provide clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders, including regular status reports, executive summaries, and presentations on program progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Manage relationships with hardware vendors and other third-party partners. Ensure that their performance meets contractual obligations and project requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and improve hardware deployment processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Ensure that all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and as-built documents, is accurate and up-to-date.
• Travel for site assessments and interfacing with partners. Anticipated travel not to exceed 25%.
• Report to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure Foundation - Capacity.

You have:

• A subject matter expert on Data Center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling - from pouring the concrete for a new building to decommissioning servers. 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure or data center projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex hardware deployment projects.
• An excellent communicator across all mediums.
• A multitool team player, with a proven ability to solve project-related problems and excited about delivering world-class infrastructure.
• Exceptionally organized.
• Flexible and able to context switch on demand, respond quickly and efficiently when managing multiple high-priority projects.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

$190,130-$226,450 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
