RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager in Portage, MI.

Summary:
A rapidly growing global organization is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the strategy, deployment, and optimization of enterprise business applications across multiple business units. This role is responsible for managing a combination of in-house and third-party software solutions, while leading distributed technical teams to deliver high-impact technology initiatives.

This position sits at the intersection of IT and business strategy, requiring strong communication with senior leadership, the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, and proven success managing complex software projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* IT Project Manager will lead full lifecycle project execution for enterprise software solutions, including planning, requirements gathering, configuration, implementation, and post-launch support
* Partner with business stakeholders across areas such as operations, finance, and supply chain to identify challenges and develop technology-driven solutions
* Translate functional requirements into clear development objectives for technical teams
* Manage and provide direction to remote or offshore technical resources to ensure project milestones are achieved
* Evaluate new platforms, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and optimize the use of internal vs external development resources
* As an IT Project Manager, you will present project updates, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership on a regular basis
* Apply structured project management methodologies to drive timelines, budgets, and cross-functional alignment
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and support organizational goals

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent experience
* PMP or similar project management certification preferred
* 7+ years of progressive experience delivering enterprise software or business system projects
* Experience managing full-stack or multi-tier application environments (no hands-on coding required, but technical fluency is essential)
* Proven experience implementing or optimizing business applications (ERP, CRM, MES, or similar systems)
* Demonstrated leadership of technical teams (including offshore or virtual team members)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at the executive level
* Strong decision-making capabilities with a strategic mindset
* Process-oriented, detail-focused, and highly organized
* Collaborative leadership style with a focus on driving outcomes across multiple business functions
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical developers and non-technical business leaders
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
