Description

We are looking for a dedicated Software Specialist I to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will support the development, integration, and analysis of information systems and software applications. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to collaborate on routine assignments while gaining valuable experience in software development and systems operations.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and integration of software applications and systems to meet project objectives.
Follow detailed procedures and instructions to ensure the accurate and timely execution of tasks.
Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and customers to address routine technical issues and provide solutions.
Perform basic programming and data manipulation tasks to support project requirements.
Manage electronic files and ensure their accurate movement through various systems.
Support quality assurance processes by following established standards and guidelines.
Utilize customer service and liaison skills to address client inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
Maintain compliance with company policies, including those related to HIPAA and data security.
Contribute to team efforts by completing assignments within defined timelines and quality standards.
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of company systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of technical training or experience.
Basic understanding of programming, software development, and system integration principles.
Proficiency in using personal computers and operating systems, including PC OS.
Strong data manipulation skills and familiarity with electronic file management.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures with limited supervision.
Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with team members and clients.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant company policies.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
