RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Work & Resource Planning Lead. Our client has two roles, one based in the Emeryville, CA area and the other one in the Fairfield/Folsom area. In this role, you will support the team by owning demand planning and capacity planning. This is helping the organization essentially align budget, capacity and available resources - and conduct analysis for future years.
Duties:
* Coordinates and assembles work and resource plans that align with the budget plan
* Monitor weekly and annual execution of the work plan by the organization; Understand the effectiveness of, and recommend improvements in business processes, practice and procedures as they relate to the identification of known work and work management data quality in the various work management systems
* Supports creating and tracking work plans by analyzing resources and costs
* Help develop backup plans, investigate variances, and work with teams to keep projects on track
* Prepare updates and presentations, contribute to special projects, and sometimes lead team meetings
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7 years of relevant work experience
* Strong with Project Coordination and Data Analysis/Reporting
Project Coordination side:
* Experience facilitating and running project meetings, comfortable engaging with larger groups, holding team members accountable, working cross functionally
* Experience with data analysis using Microsoft Tools (Power BI), Excel (VLOOKUP's and macros) and SQL
* Experience with SAP
* Experience with AO (SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office)
* Experience working and supporting a construction environment
* Advanced oral and written communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
