Summary
The SWE Developer Productivity organization builds technologies and tools to help software engineers at Apple to do the best work of their lives. The Infrastructure Team within that organization is seeking a hands-on, versatile manager to lead the development of foundational technologies in the area of distributed systems.
Key Qualifications
Experience building and leading system engineering teams (2 years minimum).Effective proficiency in strongly-typed languages such as Swift, C++, Rust, Erlang (5 years minimum).Subject matter expertise in a distributed systems domain. Familiarity with networking, distributed consensus algorithms, service development lifecycle, large scale services operation.Consistent track record of running engineering processes, owning and leading delivery of products.Experience building partnerships with cross -functional partners.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $210,900.00 and $364,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
