We are looking for a skilled and motivated Municipal Infrastructure Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of water and utility infrastructure projects. This position focuses on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for municipal clients, with an emphasis on wastewater collection, stormwater management, and public utility systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop municipal infrastructure projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility systems
  • Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and permitting documents
  • Conduct field investigations and condition assessments to support system evaluations and project development
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals
  • Contribute to hydraulic modeling, infrastructure rehabilitation plans, and utility coordination efforts
  • Support public meetings, grant applications, and funding strategies as needed
  • Assist with project management tasks including budget tracking, scheduling, and reporting
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and support professional development

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • At least 3+ years of experience in municipal water and utility infrastructure projects
  • EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with hydraulic modeling software
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
