Strategy & Operations Lead Consumer Hardware

6-12 months with likely extensions

We re seeking a seasoned, execution-focused Strategy & Operations Lead to support our leadership team across critical initiatives in consumer hardware. This role bridges operations, supply chain, and product strategy ensuring our hardware products move from concept to launch with precision, scale, and commercial impact.

 

You ll work cross-functionally to optimize supply chain processes, analyze and drive strategic decisions, and provide operational support to key product initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 7 10+ years of experience in consumer products (e.g., mobile phones, wearables, audio, smart home devices), with hands-on expertise in supply chain operations and a structured, analytical approach to strategic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to support go-to-market, production scaling, and supply chain optimization efforts.
  • Analyze operational data to inform decision-making across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Help structure product strategy workstreams, including competitive benchmarking, pricing, margin optimization, and roadmap planning.
  • Support vendor evaluation and contract negotiation processes.
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, finance, and operations to ensure execution is aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

  • 7 10+ years of experience in consumer hardware industries such as mobile phones, wearables, audio, or smart home devices.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain operations, manufacturing processes, and product development lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insight.
  • Effective communicator with a structured approach and a bias toward execution.
  • Proven success operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments.

Preferred

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or established consumer electronics brand.
  • Background in management consulting, business operations, or strategic finance is a plus.
