Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
looking for an experienced Procurement Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, specifically tailored to the needs of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry. The ideal candidate will lead procurement process design and optimization using Oracle Fusion Cloud (or EBS), with a strong focus on project-based procurement, subcontracting, and integration with engineering and construction functions.
Strong expertise in Oracle Procurement Cloud or E-Business Suite (EBS), including configuration and functional support.
In-depth understanding of EPC procurement lifecycle: from RFQs and supplier onboarding to subcontractor management and progress-based billing.
Familiarity with project accounting, WBS, and integration with Primavera or other project scheduling tools is highly desirable.
Experience with Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) and data upload tools (FBDI/ADFDi).
Roles & Responsibilities
Act as the functional lead for Oracle Procurement modules: Self-Service Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Portal, Sourcing, and Procurement Contracts, with alignment to EPC project workflows.
Drive the design and configuration of procurement processes such as project-based procurement, complex PO structures, subcontractor management, and milestone-based payments.
Collaborate with Engineering, Project Controls, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration across modules (Projects, Inventory, Payables, and Contracts).
Lead Oracle Cloud (or EBS) implementations and enhancements, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, data migration, and user training.
Ensure procurement processes support project-specific controls including cost codes, WBS integration, commitments tracking, and compliance with project delivery milestones.
Provide ongoing support and process improvements, ensuring alignment with internal controls and industry best practices.
