As a Senior Specialist Cybersecurity Developer, you will participate in daily scrum, troubleshoot application errors, work cross functionally with other teams (network, cloud, network security, testing), create and update software, test code, review software requirements and provide support to various teams, implementing fixes and updates to non-prod and prod systems. This is an entry level role with no direct reports.

What You Will Do:
- Update and create software to implement cybersecurity initiatives
- Create and interact with API's to automate and orchestrate various network security systems
- Maintain highest level of software security, implementing secure coding practices
- Use manual and automated tools to test software and validate functionality
- Reduce risk buy fixing bugs in software and deploying fixes
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine product requirements
- Support operations teams with functional expertise, using logs and various tools to limit downtime and remediate issues
- Review code and collaborate with other software developers to improve efficiency, performance and security
What You Will Bring:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security related.
- 2-3 years of Java software development experience and webapp development experience
- 2-3 years of experience with SQL databases; familiarity with PostgreSQL is a strong plus
- Proven ability to support production applications, including:
- Triaging incidents and events
- Investigating application and system logs
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing
- Basic understanding of containerization and virtualization technologies
- Solid working knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration
