Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with 7+ years of experience to lead and support enterprise-level infrastructure initiatives. This role involves managing and optimizing both physical and virtual server environments, with a strong focus on Windows Server, Microsoft technologies, and enterprise storage systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise, strong leadership in project execution, and the ability to work independently in complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions, including physical and virtual servers.
  • Administer and optimize Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Manage and support SAN/NAS storage systems and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Apply security best practices across systems and networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise applications and services.

  • SQL Server and database systems
  • Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, lift, and move computer equipment.
  • Occasionally required to stand, kneel, or crouch.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, using proper body mechanics.
  • Capable of reaching equipment mounted in racks and working in confined spaces or remote locations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr.
