Maintenance Supervisor Job, Moncure, NC

This position is responsible for managing the department responsible for the repair, installation and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient and continuous functioning of the plant.
Maintenance Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
- Manage 3-5 maintenance employees
- Manage a preventative maintenance and work order system
- Manage several projects simultaneously
- Troubleshoot various types of equipment and controls
- Repair equipment and machines in the various plant departments to ensure the efficient, smooth running with minimal disruption of operations in the plant
- Install new equipment such as pumps, valves, pipes, compressors, agitators etc.
- Participate in resolving problems related to equipment or operations with Production personnel
- Perform preventative maintenance work according to establish schedule
- Maintains good work practices and works safely and in compliance with all HSE regulations and Arclin policies and procedures
- Manage maintenance department budget and scheduling
Maintenance Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Associate s Degree or Higher
- Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- On-call availability and experience
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical abilities
- Self-motivated and directed and able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) and company policies and procedures
- Ability to do physical work and to work in confined spaces to repair machinery
- Experience working with and troubleshooting PLCs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting an around the clock operation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Preferred:
- 5+ years experience in a maintenance management position in an industrial setting
- Experience in the chemical industry
- Ability to weld and fabricate
- Ability to read and work blue prints
- Electrical Troubleshooting
- Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience
- LME Certification
