Role: Graphic Designer

Remote

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

  • Develop well-crafted design solutions for array of projects in support of our marketing + ad sales teams (including but not limited to presentations, research reports, one-sheets, email blasts / newsletters, trade ads and social content, sponsorship opportunity decks, etc).

  • Develop and produce creative surrounding client hospitality events, internal events, and industry events: hero/key art, digital invitations and communication collateral, microsites (Splash/Ceros), environmental graphics and signage, presentation materials, branded premiums, etc).

  • Responsible for project management tasks, including file management, tracking changes, backing-up files, routing work for proof-reading, sending files to vendors, gaining internal approvals, etc.



Must Have Skills / Requirements

1) PowerPoint presentation creation experience

  1. Must be deeply experienced and well-versed in Powerpoint as deck/presentation development will be the primary function of this role. Be able to develop templates, familiar with the various settings, experienced in creating impactful visual layouts with consistent formatting and visual style. Be a problem solver for dense/content-heavy slides, creating editorial-like solutions for easy visual consumption.

2) Adobe Creative Suite

  1. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Ability to create supporting graphics for presentations, and design event collateral for digital and print.

3) Project Management Experience

  1. Manage multiple timelines, projects, and deadlines, all while being organized and tracking work within our Project Management System.

Soft Skills:

1) A proactive communicator who is comfortable and experienced in remote design

2) Creative and divergent in design approach but organized, strategic, and convergent in execution.

3) Able to produce materials that fall in cohesion with existing branding, while also bringing in fresh ideas and innovative solutions as needed

4) Thorough understanding of information design and layout, identity design, typography, print and visual systems design; must be experienced in both digital and print design / production

5) Proactive communication and strong sense of time management; ability to work independently and swiftly with great attention to detail

6) Strong sense of organization and file management

7) Ability to maintain design consistency within a branded system across multiple deliverables for visual cohesion

8) High level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.


Technology Requirements:

1) Experienced in programs like Slack (daily communication), Monday/Airtable (project management), Splash/Ceros (microsites / event management), etc.

2) Experience in specialty programs desired but not required (After Effects / Figma / 3D, etc)

3) High proficiency in Powerpoint/MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
