Job Details
Role: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Long-term/Fulltime/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Automation & IaC
- Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for Azure resources (VNets, NSGs, Key Vaults, Storage, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Implement modular, reusable, and compliant infrastructure definitions with naming/tagging standards
- CI/CD Pipeline Development
- Build end-to-end YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated builds, testing (SonarCloud, OWASP ZAP, Selenium), and deployment to Dev/Test/Prod environments.
- Embed gates, approvals, artifact/version control, and secure release practices into pipelines
- Security & Compliance
- Integrate security and governance tooling (Sentinel, Defender, Purview, Azure Policy, Key Vault) into CI/CD and infrastructure layers
- Enforce HIPAA, FedRAMP Moderate, NIST 80053, and Zero Trust frameworks through automation, RBAC, network segmentation
- Collaboration & Governance
- Work with Healthcare Architects, Cybersecurity Analysts, developers, and compliance teams to align on standards, controls, and best practices.
- Maintain cross-functional documentation and conduct training on Azure DevOps processes, security, and compliance frameworks.
