We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead (Automation Engineer) to design, implement, and manage automation frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation tools and frameworks, CI/CD pipeline management, and testing strategies for cloud-native applications. As a QA Lead, you will mentor offshore teams, lead automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Postman.
Configure and manage Jenkins pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
Set up and maintain GitLab CI/CD workflows for automated testing.
Develop testing strategies for Kubernetes-based applications and microservices architecture.
Lead automation strategy and ensure best practices are followed across teams.
Mentor and guide offshore QA engineers, providing technical direction and code reviews.
Collaborate with onsite functional teams, developers, and product owners to define test plans and align with project goals.
Monitor and analyze test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Advocate for quality at every stage of the SDLC, ensuring test coverage, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years in a lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Postman.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API testing.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and managing offshore QA teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
