Sr Business Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX or Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid

Duration: 6+ Months

Role Overview
As a Business Systems Analyst on the eAPI Product Team, you ll bridge the gap between our business stakeholders and our engineering teams. You ll translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for a suite of cloudnative services and APIs that integrate with our SAP S/4HANA backbone. Your insights will drive the design of scalable, secure, and reusable API patterns, empowering domain capabilities across the enterprise.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Partner with business stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) to elicit, document, and validate functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to uncover edge cases, exceptions, and integration points.

Solution Design & Modeling

  • Create process flow diagrams, data models, and API sequence diagrams (e.g., using Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Define domaindriven API boundaries and data contracts in collaboration with architecture.

Technical Documentation & Governance

  • Author and maintain clear, versioned documentation in Confluence and SharePoint (including user guides, developer guides, API reference).
  • Support data governance by defining data steward roles, data lineage, and data quality rules.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Translate requirements into wellformed user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Jira.
  • Act as liaison between Product, Architecture, and Development squads to ensure timely delivery.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).

Quality Assurance & Support

Validate that delivered services meet requirements through functional testing and SQLbased data validation
