Job Details

Position: ServiceNow Developer
Contract: W2 Only

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and process owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Build and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.

  • Implement ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, and Service Catalog.

  • Develop custom applications, dashboards, and reports in ServiceNow.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution for ServiceNow applications.

  • Support upgrades, patches, and migration activities in ServiceNow environments.

  • Document technical designs, solutions, and configurations for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow development including scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).

  • Experience with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.

  • Proficiency in creating workflows, UI actions, UI pages, and custom applications.

  • Hands-on experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, Single Sign-On, OAuth).

  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling in ServiceNow.

  • Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow development.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with advanced modules such as HRSD, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, or SecOps.

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.

  • Exposure to Service Portal development and AngularJS.

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and enterprise integrations.
