Job Title

Payrate: $38/hr. to $40/hr. on W2
Contract Length: 6 months (through March 2026), with potential extensions

<>Job Summary</>

As an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer, you will support the design and development of functional, reliable, and cost-effective components for heavy-duty vehicles. You ll work under the guidance of senior engineers to perform basic engineering tasks, contribute to design efforts, and assist in integrating components into vehicle systems.

Your Impact

  • Assist in performing basic engineering calculations and design tasks
  • Support the preparation of layouts, drawings, and specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
  • Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
  • Help evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability
  • Contribute to documentation and bill of materials creation
  • Provide support for prototype builds and testing
  • Assist in resolving technical issues during development and production
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members
  • Learn and apply company engineering standards and practices

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Internship or academic project experience in mechanical design or analysis
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and materials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to automotive or heavy-vehicle systems through coursework or internships
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
