Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workato Architect to lead solution design for complex automation and integration programs. This role is responsible for defining integration strategy, establishing governance frameworks, and guiding engineering teams through successful delivery. The position requires a balance of architectural depth, hands-on expertise, and strong stakeholder leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Workato solution architecture for multi-application transformation initiatives.

  • Define integration standards, reusable frameworks, naming conventions, documentation templates, and design patterns.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate process needs into scalable solution blueprints.

  • Architect event-driven, API-led, and batch integration models based on business use cases.

  • Provide technical guidance to engineers on recipe design, connector usage, security patterns, environment strategy, and observability.

  • Review solution designs and implementations to ensure high performance, data quality, resilience, and compliance.

  • Support presales activities, including solutioning, estimation, technical narratives, and risk identification.

  • Mentor team members and contribute to practice assets, accelerators, and thought leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive Workato architecture and delivery experience within enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of integration fundamentals: APIs, messaging patterns, data modeling, error handling, and retry strategies.

  • Experience architecting solutions across key business domains such as HR, Finance, Sales, ITSM, or Supply Chain.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across technical and business teams.

  • Proven success working in fast-paced consulting environments managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading architecture across multiple iPaaS platforms.

  • Workato certifications and experience implementing governance frameworks.

  • Exposure to enterprise security, GRC practices, or regulated industry delivery.
