Job Details

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These may include but are not limited to:

Okta SSO environment administration and interoperability with business applications, including authentication and security.
Ability to design and implement LAN and WAN networks to support future expansion of the network.
Configure and support PaloAlto firewalls, including security and NAT policies, WAN and VPN configuration.
Manage VMWare and Nutanix environments functionality, maintenance, optimization, hardening.
Collaborate with Director of Cyber Security to implement network and application security hardening and monitoring.
Managing on-premises and cloud backup solutions.
Implement and manage Enterprise Wi-Fi.
Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure / Entra, Intune.
Patching and updating of all on-prem infrastructure hardware across the enterprise.
Assist with configuration of video conference equipment for Zoom rooms including Poly and Shure devices.
Act as level 3 support on Service Desk escalated issues impacting end user services and equipment.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor s degree and a minimum of 10 years related corporate experience.
Verify WAN redundancy, backup failover connections on each site for internet connectivity and WAN OSPF routing on primary and backup internet circuits.
Plan for replacement of core switches in Minnetonka
Troubleshoot WiFi issues in the SD office, availability of Guest network, latency issues, dropped packets
Hardening of current Palo Alto firewall policies, improve logging and threat management
Make Global Protect VPN connection mandatory on all user endpoints
Level 3 and 4 support for issues raised in the infrastructure queue (networking, wifi, Okta, access and server management, updates)
Assist with the planning and testing to prepare for the Okta identity engine upgrade

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Equipment: Experience with switches, firewalls, physical and virtual servers, PCs, scanners, voice mail and e-mail systems, VoIP telephone systems/PBX, video conference systems, and common office machines, or ability to be trained. Knowledge of other equipment required: Diagnostic and repair of desktop, laptop, and server hardware.
