Linux/Windows Admin

GyanSys is looking for a Linux/Windows Admin for its direct client

Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure Linux and Windows servers, both physical and virtual.
• Create and manage user accounts, assign permissions, and control access to systems and data.
• Continuously monitor system performance, review error logs, and apply necessary updates and patches.
• Implement security measures, manage firewalls, monitor threats, and respond to security breaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for users and systems, acting as an escalation point for complex problems.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for system configurations, operating procedures, and change management.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of both Linux and Windows operating systems, including command-line interfaces and underlying architectures.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), hardware, and software.
• Strong written and oral communication to collaborate with teams and provide support to users.
• A meticulous approach to managing systems and implementing security protocols.
