Director of Cyber Security Operations

Are you looking for your next role as a Cyber Security Director? A local company in Mount Laurel, NJ, that provides managed services is on the lookout for a Director of Security. They want someone who can not only lead and organize a specialized team but also get hands-on and push projects forward when needed. Preferably someone who has been in a director role prior or has 4-5 years' experience leading a team as a hands-on manager.

The perfect candidate should have a background in managed services or similar environments. They'll be pivotal in addressing client needs and building a team to tackle issues head-on. With plans to double the security team's size by the end of 2024, the Director will oversee internal growth while also diving into the business side of security. Moreover, they'll get the chance to spearhead projects, covering everything from cloud migrations to internal penetration testing and maintaining standard vulnerability management programs. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years' experience in cyber security
• Previous experience as a director of a cyber team
• Knowledge of policy and procedures
• Up to date on trends and tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• BA degree in computer science, MIS, cybersecurity
• CISSP, GIAC
