Role: Lead Business Analyst – WIC MIS
Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid
Minimum Requirements (Required)
- 10+ years of Business Analysis experience, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- 10+ years of experience with Project Management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT operations and understanding information technology industry trends
- 10+ years of experience defining and documenting requirements, including functional, non-functional, and system specifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate among multiple parties, resolve conflicts, and maintain effective working relationships across all organizational levels
- Proven ability to produce clear, complete, and actionable requirements documentation
- Demonstrated ability to accurately document system functionality and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management experience, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- 5+ years of experience working with government regulations or compliance frameworks
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of experience leading a team or workgroup
- 5+ years of experience interpreting policies and translating regulatory requirements into system and business requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on requirements elicitation, including reviewing existing MIS functionality and translating it into documented requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience gathering MIS requirements for a large organization
- 2+ years of experience creating solicitation or contract requirements
- PMI-PBA and/or IIBA CBAP certification preferred
