We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Support Technician supporting a great client in Austin, TX for a long-term, multi-year contract. The ideal Support Technician will have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) with a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. You will be performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers (PC) and related systems. In addition, your duties may include, but not be limited to the following:
- Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware failures
- Identifying network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers
- Providing technical support, training, process creation and leading various project efforts
- Mentoring junior Technicians
Minimum Requirements:
- 4 yrs. experience providing white-glove executive-level support
- 5 yrs. experience providing end-user support.
- 5 yrs. experience in supporting personal computer hardware and routine software installation
- 5 yrs. experience troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment
- 5 yrs. experience supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as Office 365 and MS Teams
- 4 yrs. experience supporting video-teleconferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex
- 4 yrs. experience creating technical knowledge articles preferred
- 4 yrs. experience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment preferred
- 5 yrs. experience working in a multi-vendor environment for support operations preferred
