Job Details

The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an internship opening for a software developer to work in our Orlando FL office starting in summer 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Army's Futures Command mission. In this mission we are developing and applying machine learning, artificial intelligence, and image processing techniques to 2D and 3D geospatial data. The role will focus on the research and support the development and integration of AI/ML/IP to the current high-resolution inset baseline for One World Terrain.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Working towards a Masters' Degree in computer science.
  • Programming knowledge in Python, Java, C, and JavaScript.
  • ship Required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the application of AI to software design & data structures, computer security principles, and network architecture are "nice to have" but not required.
