Responsibilities

The program provides cradle-to-grave engineering support for the definition, design, development, integration, verification, fielding, and eventual termination/disposal of the system and system components. The candidate will be responsible for providing systems engineering support to projects in the mobile networking domain.

The candidate will support the definition, development, and deployment of key program systems. The candidate will coordinate with mission stakeholders to support the development of system CONOPS and system requirements. The candidate will work with development vendors to support overseeing engineering development activities. The candidate will plan, facilitate, and execute the verification, validation, and deployment of system components. The candidate will travel to support the execution of these activities. Effective communications, technical expertise, and operational experience are keys to success in this position.

Specific individual contributor responsibilities include:

Product roadmap development
Risk Management (someone who can represent the technology and advocate on the operational risks of the technology for risk mitigation strategies
Navigating the Governance Process.
Integrated schedule management. Close the gap between FO "waterfall" tracking and vendor development using agile cycles.
Requirements traceability and testing management. Assist tracing requirements, reviewing test plan completeness and test evidence completion.
Engagement with new and future stakeholders. Help represent vendor equities for new development efforts. Engage with Operations and Mission stakeholders to ensure efficiency.
Highlight the cost benefits in vulnerability research. Utilize FO vulnerability research tool standardization that will allow us to extract metrics to highlight return on investment.
Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline.

Requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 10+ years with PhD OR 4 years of additional experience in lieu of BS

Understanding of telecommunications technologies and networks.

Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated strong customer and partner relationship building skills.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
