My client is a well-known university in Boston, MA. They have an immediate need for an AI Engineer to join their IT team. The hire would be on a contract basis. (The contract should last at least a year).

This person will responsible for the design, development, and implementation of AI systems and data pipelines that will be utilized by multiple university departments. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), data engineering, and AI system integration.


***Again, this role will be hybrid, on-site in Boston, MA 3 days per week. ***



Required Skills


* Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and experience with containerized deployments and MLOps practices


* Experience with end-to-end data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift), processing frameworks (Spark, Kafka), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), with proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control/CI/CD practices


* Knowledge of NLP techniques and large language models (LLMs)


* Experience deploying and scaling AI systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), with knowledge of cloud-native AI services
