Akkodis is seeking a Stratus Developer for a Contract job with a client in Miami, FL(Hybrid). The candidate must have strong proficiency in C or C++ and deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals to be considered for this role.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour

Stratus Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Stratus VOS platform using C or C++.
- Work with Linux/Unix internals, including multi-threading, sockets, and inter-process communication (IPC) to build high-performance systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore members, to deliver robust payment and banking solutions.
- Implement and follow design patterns and best practices in software architecture and development.
- Integrate with databases such as SQL, Oracle, or NoSQL, and ensure data consistency and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-12 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ development and system-level programming.
- Strong expertise in Linux/Unix internals, multi-threading, sockets, and inter-process communication (IPC).
- Working knowledge of the Stratus VOS operating system and experience in the banking or payments domain (e.g., VISA, Mastercard).
