Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior SharePoint Developer to lead the design, development, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and integration with third-party systems.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior SharePoint Developer to lead the design, development, customization, and maintenance of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and integration with third-party systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, and site templates.
- Customize SharePoint Online/On-Premises using SPFx, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs.
- Develop Power Platform solutions to automate business processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain and optimize SharePoint performance, including site collections, permissions, and metadata.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate SharePoint with external systems using Microsoft Graph, Azure Logic Apps, and other APIs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices in SharePoint development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint and integrated applications.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field with 4-8 years of experience in database management, design, or development or additional years of experience in lieu of degree; or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in Database Management Systems (DBMS), particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation and schema management.
- Experience in database modeling, design, architecture, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Experience with data migrations, data integrity, metadata/repository creation, and backup and recovery procedures.
- Familiarity with data mapping, data mining, and data transformation analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to support database operations including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining support tools, dictionaries, and tables.
- Proven ability to manage database-related projects, work independently, and collaborate across technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) or similar.
- Experience designing or managing cloud-based or hybrid database architectures (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, data governance frameworks, or big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience using tools like Power BI, SSIS/SSRS, Tableau, or other reporting/BI tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and system integration.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior technical staff or leading small teams in a database development or operations context.
- Understanding of database security principles, user roles, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
