AWS Program Manager

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Program Manager to lead a critical global infrastructure expansion initiative. This individual will oversee the deployment of cloud infrastructure in multiple international regions, ensuring alignment with diverse data privacy, residency, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate brings a combination of program management expertise, hands-on familiarity with AWS, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

This is a high-visibility individual contributor role focused on program execution and collaboration not a people management position. The Program Manager will drive planning, delivery, and stakeholder alignment across teams responsible for infrastructure, cloud operations, and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for managing a large-scale cloud infrastructure expansion to support international business growth. The company is working to extend its AWS-based environment beyond its current footprint, with careful attention to legal, privacy, and compliance standards in each region.

The Program Manager will coordinate this complex, multi-team effort ensuring project milestones are met, international deployments are successful, and that technical solutions meet regional regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Delivery:

• Lead the end-to-end execution of an international cloud infrastructure expansion.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and compliance teams to ensure on-time, compliant deployments.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment across global regions and manage evolving requirements.

Project Planning:

• Create detailed program plans, schedules, and deliverables.
• Track progress, manage risks, and address roadblocks proactively.

Cloud Infrastructure Oversight:

• Guide the replication and regional customization of existing AWS environments.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure architectures meet both technical and regulatory needs.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Work closely with privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to international data privacy, residency, and security requirements.

Communication & Reporting:

• Provide regular updates to leadership.
• Ensure transparency across technical and business teams.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of program or project management experience in technical or cloud infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and technical delivery processes.
• Proven track record managing large-scale cloud programs from initiation through completion.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred:

• Experience with international AWS deployments, including navigating data residency and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
• Background in SaaS, cloud-native products, or global infrastructure programs.
• Familiarity with revenue tech systems or CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting infrastructure initiatives in regulated industries such as technology, healthcare, or finance.
