Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems and integrating APIs into support business applications.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and testing to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve development practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
