Job Title : Data Developer
Location : Remote PST
Essential Skills:
- 3-5 yrs experience with SQL, Snowflake and Oracle
- 2-3 yrs experience with dbt
- 3-5 yrs experience with Oracle HRIS
Workday experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models and data processes using Snowflake, DBT, Looker,
Tableau, and AWS technologies
- Apply best practices to DBT models as an interface to the BI tool
- Maintain and expand CI/CD tools for the stack
- Build data expertise and own data quality and performance for allocated areas of ownership
- Apply best practices for source code control with Github
- Design and Maintain data security access controls
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
- Design models that are performant and support analysis that leads to business insights
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science. The emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus
- 6-8 years Data Engineering Development and Visualization experience
- 3-5 years of Data Warehouse experience is required. Snowflake DWH is preferred
- 3-5 years of SQL experience, Snowflake SQL is preferred
- 2-4 years of dbt experiences, semantic layer experience is a plus
- 2-4 years of experience with source code version systems, GitHub is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience with Ci/CD tools for the modern data stack
- 2+ years working with Workday and Oracle Business Suite (OBI, HRIS)
- 2-4 years of Looker/LookML, Tableau or modern BI tool experiences
- Experience with the following Enterprise systems: Salesforce, Jira, Adaptive, Anaplan
- 2+ years of Python development preferred
- HTML and Javascript experiences as it relates to Looker are preferred
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills
