Job Summary

The Solutions Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that our strategic, enterprise wide programs are well defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a consistent manner, responsible for building partnering relationships with C-Suite executives and other stakeholders; responsible for on time, within budget and quality implementation of enterprise wide programs; responsible for executing project management best practices.

Education & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or other related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of managing projects and/or programs at an enterprise level
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
Experience managing vendor/partnership relationships
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)

Preferred:

Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or other related field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
Experience working with Veteran Affairs and/or military health system
5 years of experience in a healthcare related industry

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Program Manager's Team, develop effective collaborative relationships with TriWest's C-Suite executive and other leaders in Operations, Health Care Services, Provider Network and IT to ensure that TriWest meets contractual requirements and fulfills organizational objectives.
Position will work very closely with ePMO team, sponsoring IT Director and assigned IT Project Managers to ensure projects are well defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a transparent, consistent and effective manner.
Leads planning, execution, and monitoring of project portfolios, ensuring that program goals are met.
Coordinates activities between multiple projects.
Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies.
Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
Managing stakeholders' communication.
Aligning the deliverables to the program's outcome.
Works closely with Contract Management to ensure contract deliverables are tracked, achieved, and reported.
Partners with enterprise QPI team to evolve project methodologies, processes, tools and standards in support of maturing our enterprise project management capabilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Problem Solving / Analysis: Ability to solve problems through systematic analysis of processes with sound judgment; has a realistic understanding of relevant issues.

Technical Skills: Previous experience and demonstrated success leading and managing large and complex enterprise projects and programs. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Project Server, Visio, and SharePoint Services.
