Java Selenium Automation Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Java Selenium Automation Architect for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY or Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid) The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation, with deep expertise in Selenium, Java, and BDD frameworks. This role involves designing and maintaining automation frameworks, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating in Agile teams.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Selenium Automation Architect job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java Selenium and BDD Cucumber.
• Resolve issues in existing automation frameworks and enhance them for scalability and performance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams in Agile environments.
• Create and maintain data-driven and behavior-driven test cases for UI and API testing.
• Build and maintain test reports, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to performance, security, and scalability testing.
• Maintain version control for test scripts using Git and Bitbucket.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8+ years of experience in test automation with strong skills in Selenium WebDriver, Java, JavaScript, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Playwright is a plus.
• Proficiency in JUnit, TestNG, Gherkin, JMeter, and API testing.
• Strong understanding of web services, distributed systems, and SQL.
• Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Git, and test automation framework development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $49.00 per hour
