Healthcare Product Owner-Hybrid Role

Role: Product Owner

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Must Have:

• Product Manager (Product Owner Healthcare Domain) e.g., payer, provider, EHR systems, claims processing)
• Workflow automation, such as Power Automate, N8N, and similar platforms.
• Direct client-facing experience at onsite.
• Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between the client and the development team, ensuring clear communication, requirement clarity, and alignment with product goals.
• Engage directly with clients onsite to gather requirements, clarify business needs, and provide regular product updates.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features through effective backlog management and prioritization.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Monitor product performance, analyze feedback, and recommend continuous improvements based on client needs and market insights.
• Support workflow automation initiatives leveraging tools like Power Automate, N8N, or similar platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Healthcare Domain Expertise: Minimum 4 years in healthcare projects (payer, provider, EHR systems, claims processing, etc.).
• Onsite Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct, client-facing onsite experience.
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, N8N, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with healthcare regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, HL7, and FHIR.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management platforms.
• Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or equivalent.
