Job Details
The ServiceNow lead developer/administrator will lead end to end ServiceNow implementation at DFPS. The technical lead/developer will also act as ServiceNow Administrator.
This role is also responsible for the following:
- As a lead developer of the team, deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a quality assurance capacity for all project deliverables
 - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Implementation certification
 - Experienced in Service Now implementations which span ITIL, ITSM and security/regulatory disciplines
 - Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes:
- User Provisioning process that integrates with internal and external systems
 - Technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
 - Workflow customization
 - Ticketing
 - Process automation
 - Report development
 - Dashboard creation
 - System configurations
 
 - Experience building and coding Configuration Management Databases (CMDB)
 - Lead Developer in 5 or more end to end ServiceNow implementation projects
 - Expert knowledge of LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Discovery using Service Graph Connectors
 - Experience in designing and developing integration with application in place that are custom built and COTS and SaaS products
 - Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign sessions
 - Understand how different ServiceNow modules interact to ensure that configuration done in one area is not negatively impacting other areas
 - Knowledge of scripting language, including JavaScript
 - Experience working with remote teams
 - Share best practices and be consultative throughout the technical design and implementation of the project

III.  TERMS OF SERVICE 
Services are expected to start 12/01/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1568 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION 
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
