Job Details
Job Description:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer/Admin/DevOps/Infrastructure. needs to have the seniority to navigate across our enterprise infrastructure
- Kubernetes SME (expensive on-premise) - cluster management, automation, scalability, load balancing. troubleshoot production issues and train the juniors. not AKS, EKS, or any other cloud-hosted solution
- Strong experience with Linux CLI
Responsibility :
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to develop and implement automation, enforce best practices, and support integration of new services within on-prem Kubernetes ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with Linux CLI Experience writing tooling using Bash/Python/Golang
- 8+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and virtualization such as VMWare
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Kubernetes workloads, networking, ingress, storage, and performance
- 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- 3+ years of experience administrating/monitoring Kubernetes clusters
- 3+ years of experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in Linux networking (iptables, CNI plugins, routing, DNS, load balancing).
- Experience building/operating monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Splunk).
- Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
