Job Details

Role: Sailpoint fedramp architect

Location: San Jose, CA

Onsite- Hybrid

Responsibilities:

Managing User Identities and Access:

Provisioning, de-provisioning, and updating user identities and access rights within the SailPoint system.

Enforcing Access Policies:

Implementing and enforcing access policies to ensure compliance with federal regulations and security standards.

Performing Access Certifications:

Conducting periodic reviews of user access to verify that it remains appropriate and necessary.

System Administration:

Maintaining the SailPoint system's infrastructure, including server configuration, patching, and backups.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Addressing issues related to user access, system performance, and security incidents.

Compliance and Auditing:

Supporting audits and compliance reviews related to IAM and SailPoint.

Staying Up-to-Date:

Keeping abreast of changes in federal regulations, security standards, and SailPoint best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree: In computer science, information security, or a related field.

IAM Experience: Proven experience in IAM, ideally with SailPoint.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of SailPoint architecture, administration tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Understanding of IAM Concepts: Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC), identity governance, and access management principles.

Security Knowledge: Understanding of federal security regulations and standards, such as NIST SP 800-53 5 FedRAMP-MUST

Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate with other IT professionals.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.

Compliance with Federal Regulations:

The SailPoint administrator must ensure that the IAM system is compliant with relevant federal regulations and standards.
