Robert Half's client in the Greater Phoenix Area is seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Director of Product to lead their product management function and drive the organization's innovation efforts. In this key leadership role, you will own the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy, ensure alignment with company objectives, and oversee the successful delivery of impactful, market-leading solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a proven track record of driving growth, inspiring teams, and delivering meaningful results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Strategy and Vision:
  • Develop and champion the overarching product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and customer needs.
  • Drive clarity and focus by effectively communicating the product vision to stakeholders across the organization.
  1. Roadmap Ownership:
  • Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on market opportunities, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of product milestones.
  1. Customer-Centric Innovation:
  • Leverage data-driven insights, industry trends, and direct customer feedback to identify and address market demands.
  • Monitor competitive landscapes to keep the organization ahead of market trends and evolving customer expectations.
  1. Leadership and Team Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Recruit, retain, and empower top talent to build a high-performing product team.
  1. Cross-Functional Alignment:
  • Partner closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to drive collaboration and ensure product success.
  • Act as a key liaison between executives, stakeholders, and customers to ensure business alignment.
  1. Performance Metrics and Accountability:
  • Define measurable success metrics (KPIs) for product performance and communicate results to leadership.
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement or pivoting.
  1. Driving Innovation:
  • Act as a change agent by promoting the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve product development and delivery.
  • Bring forward innovative ideas for new products or enhancements that create value for customers and the business.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Experience:10+ years of experience in product management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Experience in SaaS, enterprise technology, or related industries is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills:Proven capability to lead, inspire, and build high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Thinking:Demonstrated ability to align product strategy with business objectives and execute effectively.
  • Technical Aptitude:Familiarity with Agile methodologies, modern development practices, and customer relationship management tools.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Communication:Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer Focus:A strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs as the foundation for driving product success.
