Pay Rate: $55-$58/hr.
We have an immediate opportunity for a Technology Specialist IT Service, Support and Operations with strong expertise in backup administration and enterprise backup technologies to support a 4 6 month engagement based in Greensboro, NC, with remote work permitted. This role requires visa-independent candidates and will focus on designing, implementing, and stabilizing modern backup and recovery environments, with a target start date of December 11, 2025.
To be successful in this position, one needs to have hands-on experience designing and standing up Veeam infrastructure in complex enterprise environments. The consultant will be responsible for establishing and documenting backup and recovery policies aligned with business continuity and compliance requirements, and for developing a structured migration plan from Rubrik to Veeam. This migration may follow a phased, workload-based, or parallel-run approach, ensuring minimal disruption and high reliability across supported systems.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned backup implementation specialist with proven experience delivering Veeam-based solutions end to end, from architecture and deployment to policy definition and operational readiness. Exposure to the insurance domain is a plus, along with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, application, and operations teams throughout the engagement.
